Biography and Résumé
After a degree in Philosophy and a Masters in Library Science, Alice Anne Ellis continued her Art education at Dundee University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and through the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts' Studio School. She has been an Artist Member at Artspace Gallery since 2015 (www.artspacegallery.org).
Her work has been in group exhibitions in Scotland, South Korea and Virginia. She has had three solo shows in the Richmond area, and had work featured in the television series, Homeland. Her work is in private and corporate collections.
In 2020, Ellis published her first novel, Mermare Magic, under her maiden name, Alice Anne Findlay. Mermare Magic is an adventure for cat lovers of all ages, illustrated by the author,and is available through Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
